Soho based Hand therapist - Jennifer Parr

Jen is an experienced Hand Therapist specialising in the assessment and treatment of acute injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and long-term conditions affecting the hand and upper limb. Jen qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2015, and her clinical experience dates back to that time, having developed expertise within the NHS before transitioning into private practice.

Jen has a passion for treating a comprehensive range of hand and wrist conditions, including fractures, ligament injuries, wrist instabilities, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, and thumb osteoarthritis. Her evidence-based approach incorporates hands-on therapy, bespoke splinting, tailored exercise programmes, and post-operative care, including wound and scar management.

Jen has had the privilege of working with many professional sports players, including Premier League footballers, England cricket, and an F1 driver to name a few.

As a Registered Practitioner with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), Jen also holds a particular interest in working with musicians and performers. Having grown up playing the piano, cello, and violin in orchestras and solo settings, Jen understands the unique physical demands and pressures of performance. Jen's goal is to work collaboratively with each person to support recovery, prevent recurrence, and optimise performance, enabling a return to their craft at their best.
