Charlie Briers

Charlie Briers, providing physio for low back pain.

Chartered Physiotherapist, BSc

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam and have since built a diverse international career across private clinics in London, Sydney, and the Netherlands, as well as hospitals in London, Cape Town, and Uganda. I currently serve as Head Physiotherapist at a leading rugby club in North London.

As a former Great Britain water polo player, I bring first-hand insight into the physical and mental demands of high-performance sport. This experience has deepened my understanding of athletic performance and recovery, allowing me to provide more empathetic, effective, and sport-specific care to my clients.

My clinical expertise focuses on musculoskeletal injuries and sports rehabilitation for both professional and recreational athletes. I specialise in biomechanical assessments, running analysis, and movement evaluation to optimise performance and prevent injury. I also manage pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation and treat a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, arthritis, and chronic inflammation.

My approach is holistic and evidence-based—combining manual therapies such as massage, dry needling, and joint manipulation with tailored exercise programs that target the root cause of dysfunction. I am committed to delivering personalised, results-driven care that supports every client’s recovery, performance, and long-term wellbeing.
